     Hello everyone! My name is Brianna and I am at FSU studying Psychology and hoping to get a minor in education. I currently am a sophomore and am pretty happy to be on campus a lot more compared to my first semester being completely online. Outside of school, I have a part-time job at Starbucks which is very hectic but fun and hopefully, soon I will be adopting a cat. Other than that I enjoy crocheting, reading, listening to music, hiking, and shopping at Target. 

    In terms of using technology in an educational setting, I feel like now more than ever we are all very used to it. I am very familiar with Zoom and Canvas. In Highschool and I believe my last year of Middle School we had school laptops for all of the students. For the first two years of that, we used Google Classroom but ever since then until now I have been using Canvas. But, other than a few Office programs and Google I would say that is my extent of use of technology in an educational setting. 

    For my personal learning networks, I tend to use all platforms of social media to keep up to date on various topics or even to help with certain aspects of school. I use platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, etc. Online I am even able to use peers such as group chats on GroupMe to reach out about questions for any course. Offline I tend to use peers as well whether that be in class or at home with my 4 other roommates.

    Hey Bri! I enjoyed reading your blog. I am also a psychology major minoring in education! I also enjoy shopping at target and reading.  I learned so much while completing this assignment I feel like it really helped me with understanding how to use PowerPoint tools. I had seen my teachers use tools like this before when making a Jeopardy study game but I never understood how until now. I also feel like what I learned could be beneficial for me now in terms of studying.  In EME2040 I have been in a fully online course which I do tend to like since I have more freedom when it comes to school work schedules. For this course, it has been a little bit difficult when I have specific questions and have to search around to find the answer, but I always am able to manage. I think if I was in person it may make it a little bit easier to learn how to use all the tools with face-to-face explanations but either way I've still been able to do it. When I am a teacher something I may be able to do to improve the classroom experience is offer in-depth explanations in person and online and have flexible office hours.  An open education resource is any learning material that is open to being used by anyone and it can be presented in a multitude of ways.     My use of Diigo so far has been limited but with what I have done I feel that it is useful for some things but other software seems to be more beneficial to me. Diigo is useful as a communication tool and information among groups of people while different software could do a lot more. This could just be because of my limited use of the technology though. It definitely does not seem as advanced as some other educational tools and websites I have used in the past so it has made it hard to navigate for me. I guess my best comparison would be trying to use Facebook as an avid Instagram user, I find that app extremely confusing.     So far I have enjoyed the experience with blog posts. I have never done something like this before other than discussion posts but this feels a lot different because I have all of my posts in one area and can look back on them which I have been.
