Copyright is a legal protector that keeps the things that creators create safe. Copyright causes a user to have to get permission before using someone else's material. Fair use is the ability to use another user's copyrighted work without their permission but only to a certain extent. The factors this use depends on are amount, nature, purpose, and effect. As a teacher, I would deal with these concepts by using a software checking program called Turnitin which detects any plagiarized or copywritten material. I would also have a long conversation with my students about the repercussions that could occur from using copywritten material or plagiarizing.      Cyberbullying has blown up within the past few years and it is important to protect our students from the harsh things that may be said online. I feel at school it is important to have policies put in place to protect the children like punishments for inappropriate online activity even though it occur...

My experience using Microsoft Word throughout high school was pretty minimal it really kickstarted with my first class at FSU. In high school, I mostly used Google Docs unless a teacher-created an assignment with charts that needed to be filled out in Microsoft Word. Other than that most of my Microsoft Word experience came from my first class at Fsu ENC1101. I also have taken a class that teaches you about the different Office programs so I have a decent amount of experience with all of those. Overall though I feel like my favorite to use is Google Classroom since I use it the most and it seems the easiest to operate or the most user-friendly.     The ISTE that is the most meaningful to me is probably the 2.1 Learner standard. This is where educators will continually improve their practice through learning from others. Educators will set goals, pursue interests, and stay current in order to uphold education and learner's standards. I feel this is extremely...

Hello everyone! My name is Brianna and I am at FSU studying Psychology and hoping to get a minor in education. I currently am a sophomore and am pretty happy to be on campus a lot more compared to my first semester being completely online. Outside of school, I have a part-time job at Starbucks which is very hectic but fun and hopefully, soon I will be adopting a cat. Other than that I enjoy crocheting, reading, listening to music, hiking, and shopping at Target.      In terms of using technology in an educational setting, I feel like now more than ever we are all very used to it. I am very familiar with Zoom and Canvas. In Highschool and I believe my last year of Middle School we had school laptops for all of the students. For the first two years of that, we used Google Classroom but ever since then until now I have been using Canvas. But, other than a few Office programs and Google I would say that is my extent of use of technology in an educati...
