 I learned so much while completing this assignment I feel like it really helped me with understanding how to use PowerPoint tools. I had seen my teachers use tools like this before when making a Jeopardy study game but I never understood how until now. I also feel like what I learned could be beneficial for me now in terms of studying. I really enjoyed creating the buttons and making sure they were going to the right slides, there was not really anything I disliked about this project. 

As a teacher, I would want to use data collection in a variety of ways but most specifically I would like to use it for keeping track of students' improvements. If I were a second-grade teacher keeping track of my students' reading levels I would want to make sure they were all improving even if it was at their own pace. By using data tracking tools I would be able to keep track of each student's performance and reading level by creating their own record. I would even be able to show these records to the administrators to make sure they feel the students are on track as well. 

I thought it was very interesting what one classmate brought up about how even in gym class in high school coaches will use data surveys to keep track of improvemnt. I just thought it goes to show that data collection is everywhere especially in a school. Another student wrote about how they would use data collection surveys as a way to communicate with their students. I thought this was very cool and I know it would be helpful to know students have a means of sharing what they need help with or what they think could be improved. 

Badges are a part of technology sort of like a digital footprint of your accomplishments that you can send out or use to keep track. I think that badges are really healthy if you look back at them and it's a good self-esteem boost especially if the badges are related to self-betterment. I have earned badges through my apple watch-like fitness goals and such. I think they can be really important to someone who cares but I could also see how they may be frustrating for someone not working toward any particular goal. I personally do not share mine only because they are my personal accomplishments but I think it's great if you do. 

A skill I would like to learn next is Photoshop, I have always been really interested in this. Or even video editing I think that is really cool too and takes a lot of skill. In high school, my friend took a photoshop class and I was always so jealous I think it could be a useful skill as a teacher. Learning how to edit videos would be an extremely helpful skill as a teacher as well. With knowing how to do this I could create videos my students could view at home and even maybe enjoy.
